National Art School

Clare Humphries is an Australian artist who works at the National Art School, having recently returned from teaching in the UK at Norwich University of the Arts, and the Royal College of Art. Clare holds a PhD from RMIT University and has exhibited widely over the past 15 years, including at the Museum of Contemporary Art (Hangzhou, China), the Institute of Contemporary Arts (Singapore), and the Museum & Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (Australia). Her creative work, which explores notions of aura and ecological awareness, has received numerous awards internationally, and is represented in many public collections including the National Gallery of Australia.
